Frequently Asked Questions (Water Conditioner)
Learn more about Enertia’s Hybrid Water Conditioner — its technology, features, and safety standards.
Is this the only type of its kind in the world?
Yes! It is the only HPWH (Heat Pump Water Heater) which cools water in the summers and works on gas mode!
What makes it different from a geyser?
It uses heat pump technology (up to 70% energy savings) with hybrid gas mode, plus offers chilled water in summer. Built with SS 304 (Food Grade) stainless steel for hygiene and long life.
What are the health benefits?
Our SS 304 (Food Grade) Stainless Steel tank prevents rust and contamination. Optional anti-Legionella sanitization cycle ensures consistent temperature and hygienic water.
Does it work during load-shedding?
Yes. Its Hybrid design allows it to run on either heat pump (electric) or gas independently.
Is it safe?
Yes. Equipped with multiple safety layers: TPR valve, leak detection (water + refrigerant), gas flame failure shutoff, child lock, and overpressure/temperature protection.
How fast does it heat water?
Heats up to 55°C in heat pump mode and 70°C in gas mode. Cooling mode provides 10°C chilled water. Controlled via interface or app.
Does it need special maintenance?
Minimal maintenance required. The SS 304 tank resists corrosion, needing only routine cleaning and periodic checks.
Can I control it with my phone?
Yes. Integrated Wi-Fi and mobile app allow for settings, monitoring, energy tracking, and maintenance alerts (coming soon).
Energy efficiency?
Insulated tank designed for reduced heat loss and high durability. Offers up to 70% energy savings compared to conventional electric heaters. Gas mode ensures efficiency in cold environments. ERP compliant for energy labelling.
How fast does it heat?
Heating speed depends on ambient and water temperature, but it’s significantly faster than a conventional geyser.
What is the capacity of the HPWH?
The capacity is 60 gallons, sufficient for around 3 bathrooms. A regular shower typically uses 10–15 gallons.
